Who we are
MezzAsia Capital L.P. is one of the first pan Asian mezzanine funds dedicated to providing mezzanine capital to Asian businesses and financial sponsors. Under the management of the CLSA Capital Partners group, we have investment advisors based in Hong Kong and Singapore covering Asia from India to Japan. As part of the CLSA Group, we are able to leverage off its franchise as Asia's leading equity research and brokerage house to provide us unique local knowledge and strategic insight into future investment trends and opportunities in Asia.
What we do
Mezzanine is a flexible form of finance that bridges the gap that often exists between traditional debt and equity. We provide expansion capital or acquisition finance to both growing private and public mid-cap businesses over and above what banks will lend. We are also sought in leveraged buy-out situations where we enhance returns to financial sponsors and provide much needed capital to owner-managers. Through a combination of debt and equity features, mezzanine offers an attractive alternative to equity funding through flexible terms and structure, a lower cost of funding and long term capital with limited dilution. Mezzanine can also be used in shareholder restructuring and recapitalization situations. |
